Who We Are

Strataco Marketing is led by Stephen D’Agostino. He is an award-winning freelance copywriter with 12 years of expertise in advertising pharmaceuticals. For five of those years, he has worked on treatments for people with cystic fibrosis.


He was the lead writer in the launch of a therapy that treated CF caused by the most common genetic mutations. As part of the launch, he developed patient messaging and wrote a disease education site, an app and patient-facing brochures, websites, emails, and call center scripts for the patient support program.


Other therapeutic areas Stephen has experience in include various types of cancer (renal, GIST, breast, colorectal), autoimmune diseases, epilepsy, and wet age-related macular degeneration.

Stephen has also written copy for computer hardware, personal care products, cultural experiences, and as well as content for various companies and organizations around his home in Vermont.

I’ve worked as a copy professional in pharmaceutical advertising for nearly 10 years. My focus has always been making data and complex disease and MOA information simple and easy to understand and convey. My areas of  expertise include:


  • cystic fibrosis - ORKAMBI, KALYDECO, and SYMDEKO (Vertex Pharmaceuticals) and TOBI (Novartis) patient and disease education materials, call center scripts

Art & Artists

My goal in writing  promotional material, content marketing, and articles is accessibility of the art and the artist to the patron.. I strive to make an emotional connection between the art lover, and the art and artist who created it.

Other Writing Passions

I am a storyteller at heart. Like the artist behind the art, there is a person and a story behind the shop, community organization, place and non-profit. Knowing the story behind an institution increases customer interaction. It also helps customers understand and appreciate the place they call home, the place they want to visit, the place that is worth going out of the way to find.
